The Study
- Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) is a rare condition that is characterized by recurrent episodes of severe swelling of the abdomen, limbs, face and/or throat
- In the case of laryngeal swelling, HAE can be life threatening
- There are two forms of medication for HAE – preventative and rescue
- The investigational drug is a preventative treatment that aims to reduce the frequency and severity of HAE attacks.
Study Benefits
- This study is investigating a preventative medication to determine the efficacy of reducing frequency and severity of HAE attacks
Study Volunteers Must Meet the Following Criteria
- 18 years or older
- Male/female
- Diagnosis of HAE
Study Participant Expectations
- The subject must be willing to discontinue any preventative medication for the duration of the study
- Number of office visits: 5-6
- Duration of study: up to 20 weeks

- There is no cost to participate
- If you qualify, you will be compensated up to $625
